s/f NAJADEN Najaden was built in 1918 in Holland, to carry cargo on the Atlantic Ocean. The first engine was not installed until 1925. From that year on Najaden was successively rigged down andfinally ended up as a straight motor-vessel. In 1987-88 she was rebuilt into a passenger ship and once more rigged the way she used to be. She is now used for both conference sails in the archipelago and cruises on the Baltic Sea. Conference - Business Entertaining – Recreation Imagine being on a classical sailing-ship with 600 square meters of sail. Going through the islands of the Stockholm archipelago, one of the most beautiful places in the world. This is what you will experience on board the three-masted schooner Najaden. So why not plan your next conference or company meeting on Najaden or bring your clients on a relaxed entertaining trip, something they will surely remember forever. You will have the entire ship at your disposal, for work or recreation. Without anything to disturb, the relaxed atmosphere on board will help tie the group together and inspire creativity to flow. Eat well and feel good. On Najaden you eat very well. All food is prepared on board. We will be happy to help suggest a menu, but our chef will also create your own, if you so wish. If you are looking for evening entertainment we will take care of all arrangements. Such as booking singers and musicians. In addition we organize dive-trips and water skiing. At night you will sleep very well in our comfortable cabins with en suite toilets and showers. Help us sail! We invite you to help us sail the ship if you are so inclined. The crew will gladly show you how to set and trim sails, as well as teach seamanship and how to tie knots. Where we sail to and for how long is of course a decision we leave to our guests. Najaden is certified for travel in international waters and not only limited to the Stockholm Archipelago. So why not take a tour to Dag” ( in Estland ), Åland(in Finland) or to Gotland.
